A passion for new technologies
We are living in a world where everything goes faster and faster, and we have to face different challenges like environmental degradations or increasing inequalities around the planet. The Internet is occupying a central place in this changing world. In my opinion, it is an incredible and very powerful tool, only limited by the human being's imagination. It represents freedom, sharing, culture, mutual aid. It can also be a dangerous tool. It's exactly like our world: complex, where nothing is completely black or white.This is precisely why I'm a fund of computing security: there is no kind of engineers protecting companies' systems on the one hand against mean hackers on the other hand. This would be a strong misunderstanding of this domain to think so. Truth is there are curious and passionate people who enjoy creating and understanding very complex systems and knowing their limits and weaknesses. Then, some may try to find systems' vulnerabilities with different reasons to do so: challenge, gratitude, prevent companies and individuals from being hacked, their personal profit, or for criminal organisations. Other people may work to correct these issues in order to protect systems and data.
All these people are connected to each other. Sometimes they are opponents, sometimes they are associated depending on personal interests. The only way to protect a system properly is to know its limits and how to attack it. The contrary is also true: the only way to attack a system successfully is to know exactly how it is protected.
Finally, computing system security is a continuous evolution domain where learning is never-ending, and this is precisely what I find fascinating!

A computer is just a tool, not an end in itself; communication and sharing are. What is better than being "disconnected" for a while, changing and opening its mind and discovering other cultures and people? My passion for travel really began in many countries. This experience changed me forever, Since then I have traveled a lot for personal and professional purposes in many different countries.
